Customer service is outstanding

My wife and I was out on a long ride yesterday when I developed a problem with the idle on my 2009 Iron. I called Angie and although your schedule was pretty full for the next few days she was able to get me in this afternoon. The guys got it straightened out in no time and we shared some great conservation with the rest of the staff while we were there. Everyone we have been in contact with at LA have been awesome and your customer service is outstanding.

Thanks folks love doing business with you all

Once again our extended family at L-A Harley has out done themselves. We had the great pleasure of buying the mid-year 2010 Screamin' Eagle Ultra. As always the entire team was there to support and comfort me through the long wait for the bike to arrive. I should explain we bought the bike before it was built and spent from Feb. Until May waiting for it to arrive. When it did arrive I'm not sure who was more excited me or the folks at the dealership. The bike was delivered in as you would expect knowing the L-A Harley family in pristine condition and has already been back for the 1000 mile service and returned to me cleaner than when I dropped it off. The sales department from Bert to John to Don were always there answering my questions. The guys in service treat us like family as always and the detail man Jason what can I say he takes as much pride in our bike as we do. Thanks folks love doing business with you all.

Thanks Ladies, you're the best

Wanted to put a special Thank you to Stormie and Diane for all their help in getting that special gift for my sweety for our anniversary. They both went out of their way to locate what I wanted then to get it there in time. Diane stayed late so I could pick it up after hours because of my work schedule. That's what I call service above and beyond. Thanks Ladies, you're the best.

Keep up the excellent work!

Dan McCrakin was great to deal with and got me the best deal out of three competing dealerships. He was truthful and professional and a man of his words. I had a few concerns with the bike and Dan directed me to Jesse in service and the service level was at the same high standards. I was very pleased with the response and performance. I have already recommended your dealership to several friends and you have gained a long term customer. Keep up the excellent work!

I will be back!

John, I just wanted to take some time to inform you of the great buying experience I recently had at your shop. I live in Washington, ME and have been getting ready to buy a new bike for some time. I wanted to buy at Augusta as they are 30 minutes from my home, so… off I went… Financing was pre-approved in minutes and I let the salesman know that I knew EXACTLY what I wanted, and what I could afford to pay, I felt I was very clear. I wanted a 2010 Wide Glide in black, Period (my friend recently purchased the same bike, he let me ride it, and I loved it!). They told me they did not have one, and there were none in the state, but there was one in NH he could get the next day. I could work with that, in the meantime they try and sell me a 2009 night train that they say they will give me a great deal on and will get in the payment I was looking for. They said they will also give me more for my trade. Furthermore I would have to give them a grand for the Wideglide because they could not give me as much for my trade on my bike on that deal. So with this I rode the Nighttrain, which I hated! He then tried to sell me honda that he said was better than the Wide Glide. So I went home to think all this over with my head swimming over the last several hours I had spent getting the runaround, while thinking, I googled all the bike shops in the area and distance from me. I then called your place up and spoke with Brian Ouellette. he had two of what I wanted. I told him over the coarse of three minutes what I had, what I was looking for as an end result. He asked if I could hold for a minute. He spoke with Scott Travers. Moments later he told me to come up in the morning, and if what I told him was true we had a deal. I arrived at your shop with my bike at 10:30 and I saw a Black Wide Glide all by itself. I went to sit on it and noticed a sold sign on the grip so I immediately got off! Brian came to me a moment later and said "Hi Tim" (he recognized my bike in my truck as I pulled in!). We spoke for a moment and he told me he would take a look at my bike, I asked if I could sit on the sold bike, he said "sure thing it's yours" and at 11:15 we were loading my 2010 Dyna Wide Glide in Black into my truck. Your staff was no nonsense, pleasant, provided me with all the facts, and did not make me feel I was being worked! I will tell all that listen about my experience, and when i buy my wife a new bike in the next couple of years I will be back!

Service is always top notch

Just wanted to comment on my latest experience at LA Harley. I came in during a ride with a broken radio antenna and by chance asked Angela if it would be covered under warranty and without any problem I got a new upgraded antenna! Thanks again Angela and LA Harley… Service is always top notch…

You have a great team

My wife and I have just returned from a 2,000 mile journey covering a lot of Southern Maine and New Hampshire. We were visiting with friends in Wells Beach, Maine when we started having electrical problems with our 2007 Ultra Classic (no turn signals, brake lights or cruise) in addition to purchasing all the 15 amp fuses we could locate. Being as close to N.H. as we were, we attempted to have an unmentioned dealership take a look at it, but to no avail--they didn't have the time. Having worked at a H-D dealership before, an out-of-stater would ALWAYS take precedence, only because we knew that customer was on a time-clock. Rather than trying to convince the parts manager to reconsider, we rode another seventy-five miles to L-A Harley in Lewiston, Maine. We arrived at approximately 10:30 am and spoke to the service tech ((Brent Dube). He immediately escorted my wife and I outside and tried to assess the problem. He also explained the process of hourly rates and what would happen if it exceeded that timeframe. Meanwhile, the service manager (Wes Perham) intervened and introduced us to their mechanic and electrical expert (Abe Lauze). Abe jumped in with both feet and before I knew it, the fairing was off and wires were pretty much all exposed. The gentleman knew his job but without a code, he was forced to start testing wires from beginning to end. Finally, after nearly two hours, he discovered the cause and fixed the problem. Oh, by the way, he worked through his lunch break. This is only a short memo and a big thanks to the people mentioned above for their total dedication to their jobs and to the company. Mr. John Story, you have a great team. On behalf of my wife and I, please pass on my thanks and gratitude. The rest of our trip went extremely well and I'm proud to announce "all lights worked". We'll be back!!!

Very impressed

Dear Mr. Story, I purchased a new 2009 Night Rod Special at your dealership on June 23, 2010. I had previously purchased a new Fat Boy from L-A Harley in the summer of 2008. At the time of that purchase, Ludger was the salesman, and during this latest purchase, Matt was the salesman. I was impressed by their expertise, Friendliness, and willingness to go the proverbial "extra mile" to make my buying experience stress-free and pleasant. Business managers, Scott and Chad, were instrumental in making the actual purchase of my Night Rod a painless event. Your huge inventory of Harleys is very impressive. The only "down-side" is that it makes it difficult to decide which Harley to buy. Also important is the service one receives after the purchase. In this case, L-A Harley also hit a home run. Matt, along with those in the parts dept. (two names I can remember are Kevin and Brandon but there's also a third man that has waited on me) have been helpful in assisting me with after-market parts for my bike. Brent, from the service dept., has worked diligently in getting my bike repaired, a Vance & Hines exhaust installed and dyno tuned, and back on the road despite numerous repair and maintenance projects on other bikes. Although I did not buy anything from the sales dept. this time around, every sales person that waited on me in 2008 was patient and knowledgeable in helping me select riding gear. As you can see, I have been very impressed with your employees at L-A Harley-Davidson. I can't imagine that there is a better motorcycle dealership anywhere in the U.S.A. Here's to your continued success!

Thrilled with the extraordinary service

Brent took care of me when I had a sudden gas leak from behind the air cleaner on my '03 FLSTFI...I called him on my cell phone after consulting my GPS to find the nearest dealership.(8/14/2010)… He could not have more helpful on the phone... he completely assuaged my fears and told me to come right over… When I arrived, he took me right in and explained your policies, all the while building my confidence that my problem would be resolved as soon as possible… I could not have been more pleased at how this was handled… Within an hour, the repair was completed, and Wes came out and explained exactly what had happened… again with courtesy and accuracy that exceeded my expectation… I was back on the road shortly thereafter, and thrilled with the extraordinary service that was rendered… I wish you guys were closer to Marblehead, as you would, no doubt, be my dealer of choice… in fact you may be in spite of the distance I would have to travel… just another day trip… Thanks again for a best case scenario for me Kip Sandfield, DMD

Good experience

Commissioner Morrison, My name is James Burton and I live in Bushnell, Florida. I would personally like to share my wonderful experience in passing through your great town. My friend John Mitchell and I just retired from the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (Tampa area) after 32 years. Upon our retirement, we had planned a trip of a lifetime, to visit various destinations and landmarks of both the United States and Canada. Having said that, we were visiting the Lewiston/Auburn area when our travels brought us to LA Harley Davidson. My 2009 Harley Ultra had developed a mechanical problem that could have stranded us into the nether regions of your state. We were very fortunate to have been in Lewiston at the time of this problem. LA Harley Davidson promptly diagnosed the problem and worked diligently to get my cycle safely back on the road. At the same time, I was summoned to immediately return to Florida due to my Father failing health as he was being sent to Hospice . While waiting for the parts that were ordered, the dealership and their staff performed brilliantly to make the wait for the necessary repairs as painless as possible. Everyone in the dealership was so courteous that I will never forget what they did for me. The Dealership managing partner, John Story, even loaned a Harley to use so that I could continue to see your beautiful countryside. The staff also advised as to what local diner establishments to visit so that I could get the essence of the food that Lewiston/Auburn has to offer. What stands out of my experience was the level of commitment and customer service that I received upon my return to Florida. My bike developed the same problem as I experienced there in Lewiston/Auburn. As the problem was re-diagnosed here in FL by another Harley Davidson dealership, LA Harley Davidson assumed responsibility and handled the problem with no hassle to me. This is almost unheard of with companies today. In closing, having shared my experiences with you and your community, I would like to personally thank your wonderful town for my wonderful memories. This incident could have easily turned out differently and possibly destroyed our trip of a lifetime. Again, thank you, to the fine people of LA Harley Davidson and the businesses of Lewiston, Maine.

Recommend for anyone who is looking for a great bike at a great price

I want to thank all the employees at L/A Harley for their assistance and getting me on my first Harley. Adam was an excellent salesman. Even though my test run went a little shaky the people of L/A Harley were great. I will recommend anyone who is looking for a great bike at a great price to go L/A Harley.
