Robert in the service department is awesome! Twice now he has gone above and beyond to accommodate me on short notice. The first time earlier this year when I arrived about five minutes after LA Harley closed for the day, Robert opened up the service dept. to let me drop off two rims that needed new tires.

Recently I ordered a security system for my 2014 flhtcu and when I stopped in today to pick up the system, Robert was able to fit me in (on a very busy day) with no advanced notice. As a result I now have a working security system on my bike and dont have to make an appointment and go back to have it installed.

I really appreciate Robert and the service dept. staff and the extra effort they put forth to make sure every interaction is a positive experience.

I just want to share my opinion about the staff at L-A Harley. I never do this but I am so impressed with the staff I have to tell as many people as possible. I am a new customer and a new rider. After owning 3 previous HD's when living in NJ and Florida, I was in the market for a good "pre-owned" Road King after a 5 year stint riding a 2010 Triumph Thunderbird 1600, I just had to get back on a Harley. Saw a beauty on Craigslist, a 2010 Black Classic, down at Manchester NH Harley. But by the time I called it was sold. That started the ball rolling and I was in the hunt for the best deal on a Road King. After negotiating pretty good deals with Manchester HD and Big Moose HD on a Road King, I requested a quote on a 2012 Road King I saw on LA Harley's web site. Within an hour I was contacted by salesman Rick who was awesome. Rick went out of his way and crunched the numbers and as it turned out, he was able to put me on a brand new 2015 Road King. I never thought I'd be able to get a new Harley, but Rick made it happen. Rick also gave me a lot of good advice and information. In fact everyone I came in contact with at LA Harley was exceptional: Bert, Ludger, Brooke, Tyler, Jeff, Robert, all went out of their way for me. The only problem is that I bought the Road King on Wednesday and found myself back at LA Harley on Thursday and again Friday buying accessories. And I'm headed there tomorrow for the Wet and Wild event! I knew those large saddle bags would get me in trouble. It's contagious. You can't help yourself. There's just too many great HD accessories available that you can't pass up. That's one thing that makes owning a HD so great, you can customize your bike to your liking. Again, everyone at LA Harley is exceptional as is the awesome dealership. It all started with Rick and now you have a customer for life. See y'all tomorrow at the party.

L-A Harley is an awesome family. I spoke with Richard, in Sales, back in August about an FLS. He showed me a beautiful one which was a 2014 FLS in red but was not ready to purchase at that time. Next time we went in was the beginning of November and they had sold the red FLS already. Richard told me that they no longer had them in red so he showed me the various colors. This started off as a sad tale of woe but by the end it turned into a fantastic ending.

I had prearranged to stop in and have my bike serviced since I was passing through from out of country.

When I arrived at L.A. HD, my bike, was making a horrible screeching noise. The bike was booked in, even thought the service department was booking two weeks in advance.

Well it turned out to be something that the tecks had not heard before.

First to work on the bike was Abraham. After that more problems were discovered. They ended up tearing the engine completely apart and found they needed to order parts. I had to wait a week for the parts to come in and when they did, the tecks got right to the task of putting my engine back together.

I have to thank so many people there and I don't want to leave anyone out but special mention has to go to Angie first of all, who was unbelievably helpful. She spoke with HD warranty and was able to convince them to help out because the bike technically was just passed warranty. She was very accomodating in helping me to get a place to stay and so on.

Then there was Wes who did the final assembly. There were others like Eric, Paul, Jess and Andy.

Obviously I was delighted with the results and was on my way to completing my trip.

I can't say enough about how well I was treated and the level of service I received.

If there is an award within the company for special performance, then it should go to the service department.

I want to thank each and every person who had a hand in getting me on the road again.

My friend John Mitchell and I just retired from the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (Tampa area) after 32 years. Upon our retirement, we had planned a trip of a life time, to visit various destinations and landmarks of both the United States and Canada. Having said that, we were visiting the Lewiston/Auburn area when our travels brought us to LA Harley Davidson. My 2009 Harley Ultra had developed a mechanical problem that could have stranded us into the nether regions of your state. We were very fortunate to have been in Lewiston at the time of this problem. LA Harley Davidson promptly diagnosed the problem and worked diligently to get my cycle safely back on the road. At the same time, I was summoned to immediately return to Florida due to my Father failing health as he was being sent to Hospice . While waiting for the parts that were ordered, the dealership and their staff performed brilliantly to make the wait for the necessary repairs as painless as possible. Everyone in the dealership was so courteous that I will never forget what they did for me. The Dealership managing partner, John Story, even loaned a Harley to use so that I could continue to see your beautiful countryside. The staff also advised as to what local diner establishments to visit so that I could get the essence of the food that Lewiston/Auburn has to offer. What stands out of my experience was the level of commitment and customer service that I received upon my return to Florida. My bike developed the same problem as I experienced there in Lewiston/Auburn. As the problem was re-diagnosed here in FL by another Harley Davidson dealership, LA Harley Davidson assumed responsibility and handled the problem with no hassle to me. This is almost unheard of with companies today. In closing, having shared my experiences with you and your community, I would like to personally thank your wonderful town for my wonderful memories. This incident could have easily turned out differently and possibly destroyed our trip of a lifetime. My wife and I have just returned from a 2,000 mile journey covering a lot of Southern Maine and New Hampshire. We were visiting with friends in Wells Beach, Maine when we started having electrical problems with our 2007 Ultra Classic(no turn signals, brake lights or cruise) in addition to purchasing all the 15 amp fuses we could locate. Being as close to N.H. as we were, we attempted to have an unmentioned dealership take a look at it, but to no avail--they didn't have the time. Having worked at a H-D dealership before, an out-of-stater would ALWAYS take precedence, only because we knew that customer was on a time-clock. Rather than trying to convince the parts manager to reconsider, we rode another seventy-five miles to L-A Harley in Lewiston, Maine. We arrived at approximately 10:30 am and spoke to the service tech ((Brent Dube). He immediately escorted my wife and I outside and tried to assess the problem. He also explained the process of hourly rates and what would happen if it exceeded that timeframe. Meanwhile, the service manager (Wes Perham) intervened and introduced us to their mechanic and electrical expert (Abe Lauze). Abe jumped in with both feet and before I knew it, the fairing was off and wires were pretty much all exposed. The gentleman knew his job but without a code, he was forced to start testing wires from beginning to end. Finally, after nearly two hours, he discovered the cause and fixed the problem. Oh, by the way, he worked through his lunch break. This is only a short memo and a big thanks to the people mentioned above for their total dedication to their jobs and to the company. Mr. John Story, you have a great team. On behalf of my wife and I, please pass on my thanks and gratitude. The rest of our trip went extremely well and I'm proud to announce "all lights worked". John, I just wanted to take some time to inform you of the great buying experience I recently had at your shop. I live in Washington, ME and have been getting ready to buy a new bike for some time. I wanted to buy at Augusta as they are 30 minutes from my home, so… off I went… Financing was pre-approved in minutes and I let the salesman know that I knew EXACTLY what I wanted, and what I could afford to pay, I felt I was very clear. I wanted a 2010 Wide Glide in black, Period (my friend recently purchased the same bike, he let me ride it, and I loved it!). They told me they did not have one, and there were none in the state, but there was one in NH he could get the next day. I could work with that, in the meantime they try and sell me a 2009 night train that they say they will give me a great deal on and will get in the payment I was looking for. They said they will also give me more for my trade. Furthermore I would have to give them a grand for the Wideglide because they could not give me as much for my trade on my bike on that deal. So with this I rode the Nighttrain, which I hated! He then tried to sell me honda that he said was better than the Wide Glide. So I went home to think all this over with my head swimming over the last several hours I had spent getting the runaround, while thinking, I googled all the bike shops in the area and distance from me. I then called your place up and spoke with Brian Ouellette. he had two of what I wanted. I told him over the coarse of three minutes what I had, what I was looking for as an end result. He asked if I could hold for a minute. He spoke with Scott Travers. Moments later he told me to come up in the morning, and if what I told him was true we had a deal. I arrived at your shop with my bike at 10:30 and I saw a Black Wide Glide all by itself. I went to sit on it and noticed a sold sign on the grip so I immediately got off! Brian came to me a moment later and said "Hi Tim" (he recognized my bike in my truck as I pulled in!). We spoke for a moment and he told me he would take a look at my bike, I asked if I could sit on the sold bike, he said "sure thing it's yours" and at 11:15 we were loading my 2010 Dyna Wide Glide in Black into my truck. Your staff was no nonsense, pleasant, provided me with all the facts, and did not make me feel I was being worked!
